For decades our neighborhood has lived in peace and serenity!
Recently, since about March 2026, a construction site at 2295 Bataan Memorial West has started.
It has caused nothing but nuisance, "fugitive" dust into at least my home daily, dust & silica all over my car daily, and disturbance of my right to peace and quiet.
Earth shaking, ground shaking. Noise, vibrations, all before SEVEN O'CLOCK A.M.!
My first complaint regarding early work, and pest intrusion was in late June via the online portal. I'm not sure what was done other than a warning...
The dust, debris, noise, disturbance of my right -- and the neighborhood's right -- to peace, continued, and still continues to this day!
I was doing some yard work early August 7, and the crews were out there before SEVEN A.M. again, prompting another complaint via the portal. This time, I had pics and video, which were shared to the investigating Codes Officer.
All I have ever seemingly heard was further violations would result in "total site being fined," or something like that.
So... multiple violations, multiple agencies notified...

Backhoe at ground level, and operating dangerously close to LIVE POWER LINES! As they continued digging...the top of the backhoe could not be seen. The trench was so deep! AND, no type of "shoring" up material or anything for days! Also, that mound of dirt/soil continues to grow...no mitigation!
